Among more than 43,000 applicants, approximately 15,500 were offered admission to bachelor’s degree programs at the eight major universities or metropolitan universities, yielding an overall acceptance rate of about 35.9%, the lowest level since 2019. According to an analysis by the Student Union, although the number of applicants has rebounded, the increase in available places has been limited, intensifying competition. Nevertheless, over 80% of admitted students secured offers for their top three preferred courses (Band A).
